It will never not baffel me that some finance idiots do not see the value of refactoring just because "you cannot see it", if i break your engine and mess up all the screws would you want as little as possible changes? refactoring is part of good maintanence, waiting until it breaks will always be more expensive but short term savings are better than the increased long term savings to these idiots. And then some of them have the AUDACITY to tell me to do it while developing like we dont learn as developers, and there might be new stuff as well which got released?!? I think more knowledge in IT would show some special idiots that its not fun and easy
